While I am still hard at work building out our brand-new lesson plans for AP U.S. History and AP U.S. Government, I wanted to share a tool I created to help streamline the process: my Lesson Design Slide Deck. Specifically tailored around the EduProtocols I use most frequently in my own classroom, each slide (more than 30 in all) features a breakdown of the protocol alongside a dedicated space for classroom ideas. I’ve been filling mine with running lists of potential assignments and images from my favorite teachers. My ultimate goal is to print, laminate, and ring-bind them into a handy desk reference for whenever inspiration strikes. Feel free to download the slides for yourself, customize them with your own go-to strategies, and build a personalized lesson design deck that works perfectly for your classroom.
